What are the benefits of IV infusions?
IV therapy is the most effective way to bring vital nutrients, minerals, vitamins, and hydration to your body. Maximum absorption is achieved as a result of bypassing your digestive system and delivering nutrients directly to your bloodstream. avIVa Infusions offers different blends that can be fully customized and tailored to your needs. Our goal is to improve your health and wellness by targeting your individual nutritional needs.
Why are antioxidants and vitamins important?
Our bodies need a consistent amount of vitamins and antioxidants to function optimally. Deficiencies can lead to a variety of acute and chronic illnesses.
Who can benefit from IV Infusions?
Exhausted parents, busy professionals, stressed out students, fitness enthusiasts, and those suffering from a variety of ailments and diseases to name a few. IV Infusion therapy can help boost energy, increase weight loss, restore a glow to your skin, recover from illness, and enhance wellness. If you are not sure if IV Infusions are right for you, please call us and we will be happy to assist you in determining if you are a candidate as well as which infusions would be most beneficial.
Is IV infusion therapy safe?
Absolutely. avIVa Infusions utilizes premium ingredients provided by highly trained and experienced medical professionals.
How long do IV infusions take?
Most treatments take from 30-45 minutes, however, our NAD+ can take 3-4 hours.
What side effects can occur with IV hydration?
Side effects are extremely rare and are usually minor. They may include bruising and soreness around the injection site, a cooling sensation, metallic taste, or a brief flushed feeling. Less common adverse effects are infection or allergic reaction. All side effects are short lived and treatable.
Do we take insurance or FSA?
Unfortunately, we do not accept insurance at this time. We work endlessly to ensure that you are getting the best price for the specialized services, highest quality ingredients, and excellent care we provide. Medical Flex Spending Accounts typically cover the cost of IV hydration and vitamin infusions.
How often can I get treatments?
Everyone’s needs are different. Our expert providers will consult with you and make a recommendation based on your individual health and wellness goals. We then work together to customize a treatment that is perfect for you.
How long until I feel the effects of the treatment?
Depending on your hydration status and level of nutrient deficiency, you may feel immediate, dramatic results.
Is an IV infusion better than drinking water and eating healthy?
Nutrient deficiencies may occur despite eating healthy. Factors such as stress, digestive issues, poor sleep, and immune system assaults can lead to nutrient depletion or inadequate nutrient production. Furthermore, an overwhelmed system can easily derail even the best of dietary intentions.
In addition, environmental burdens, illness, and even exercise can cause oxidative stress in the body. This can lead to the formation of damaging free radicals which may contribute to an even greater risk for disease. Glutathione, the master antioxidant, is not able to be orally absorbed.
IV nutrition provides vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, amino acids, and much more. IV hydration can be better than drinking water when digestive issues make it difficult to keep fluids down or when the body’s demands exceed intake. It is also a great way to rehydrate in a hurry because IV fluids are dispersed more quickly throughout the body.
While IV therapy has many benefits, it is not a replacement for drinking water and eating healthy. We strongly encourage our patients to eat a varied diet rich in nutrients and drink plenty of fluids to maintain healthy hydration.
Do I need any blood tests prior to vitamin infusions or injections?
A G6PD may need to be obtained prior to certain Vitamin C infusions. You may also need a Vitamin D level if you plan to receive more than 50,000IU per week.
