Ketamine Infusion Therapy

Am I a Candidate?

Welcome to avIVa Infusions

You Get Knocked Down, But You Get Up Again

Migraine headaches are no joke–they can take you out for an entire day or longer. A migraine is a neurological condition that takes the shape of a severe headache, and is often accompanied by nausea, vomiting, and light and sound sensitivity.

It’s a frustrating and disconcerting experience to have to miss work or social activities due to this condition, and it’s not exactly a fun “vacation.” At avIVa Infusions, we can get you back on your feet with simple ketamine infusions for migraine treatment in Green Bay.

Ketamine is believed to connect to receptors in your brain and amplify the number of neurotransmitters. This allows your brain to restore nerve connections to relieve your migraine symptoms!

What to Expect

The Migraine Treatment Process

1

Consultation

Before diving into your migraine treatment in Green Bay, we’ll first conduct a consultation. This is an opportunity for us to get to know you and vice versa! We’ll uncover your concerns, symptoms, and goals and expectations for treatment. You’re encouraged to ask us questions about the treatment and our practice. Once we’ve determined you’re a candidate for treatment, we’ll book your appointment.

2

Migraine Treatment Session

When you arrive for your ketamine infusion, we’ll show you to one of our infusion rooms and you’ll take a seat in a comfortable recliner. We’ll begin by taking vital signs and placing an IV in your arm or hand. Throughout your infusion, you are welcome to listen to music, white noise, or watch TV while we monitor your vitals.

3

Next Steps

Once your IV is removed, you can relax in the room until you’re ready to leave. Since the ketamine infusion will make you quite tired, we require you to have a ride home and refrain from driving for the rest of the day. Before you go, we can schedule any follow-up appointments needed!
